Sending a team to the 2018 Tokyo Asia Junior Sports Exchange Games

The Seoul Sports Association for the Differently-abled has sent athletes and leaders to the 2018 Tokyo Asia Junior Sports Exchange Games which is held for 7 days from August 21st to 27th at the Komazawa Olympic Park Sports Complex in Tokyo, Japan

The 2018 Tokyo Asia Junior Sports Exchange Games which are hosted by the Tokyo Sports Culture Agency and organized by the Tokyo Badminton Association and the Tokyo Ping Pong Association has participants from 19 cities in a total of 15 countries. The Seoul Sports Association for the Differently-abled sent 4 people (1 supervisor, 1 trainer, 2 athletes) for two events(ping pong, badminton).

The team arrived at Tokyo in August 21st and visited the school on August 22nd for a welcome reception and trainer discussion. On the 23rd, an informative time was had through cultural exchange with young Asian athletes including an international sports camp forum and cultural exploration. The exchange matches were held for 3 days from the 24th to the 26th.

The athletes were able to gain international experience through the 3 days of exchange matches and were able to cultivate confidence to grow into athletes with a wider perspective.

The Seoul Sports Association for the Differently-abled looks forward to and applauds the improvements in the sporting abilities of the Seoul Differently-able sports team through competitions with outstanding young athletes in the Asian region
