The 6-axis industrial robot features 85% performance at 70% price competitiveness compared to Japanese products. Its strength is the ease of part replacement and maintenance and simple operation with the PLC based program.

The Servo mate reducer(RV decelerator) is a robot part that can be controlled with high precision. It offers a large number of engagements and excellent performance under overload. It also features outstanding acceleration because of low backlash, rotating vibration and inertia as well as soft movement and accurate positioning. SeneS’ products have been widely applied in LCD manufacturing systems, semiconductor manufacturing systems, industrial robots, machine tools and cutting machines, and transport devices. The Zero Back Drive is noted for reproducing the features of conventional harmonic drives such as large caliber based simple design, high torque, high strength and high compactness. It applies the flexible roller bearing instead of flexible bearing in the conventional harmonic drive to equally distribute the load to the flex spline and extend the life of flex spline. SeneS Technology Co., Ltd. owns the patent related to the technology.

SeneS Technology Co., Ltd. is also actively participating in ‘Robot Part Distribution Project’ sponsored by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Energy. It has been developing the ‘passive gear decelerator’ since 2009. The type of passive gear precision decelerator is one of key robot parts along with the servo motor and very expensive. The application of decelerator has been particularly widening as the industrial machines used in automation and robots are becoming more intelligent. It is interfaced to the servo motor to decelerate the motor speed and increase the output torque. The decelerator used in robots requires higher precision than conventional industrial decelerator, therefore the technology for the high torque at low speed and the high precision is essential. The passive gear decelerators are utilized not only in robot industry such as vertical articulated robot, SCARA robots, and parallel robots but also the semiconductor transport system, NC machine tools and polishing machines.

Although the decelerators are widely applied, the global markets are dominated by the Japanese and several other leading companies, and it has become the obstacle to competitiveness of domestic robot industry. SeneS Technology Co., Ltd. began developing the passive gear decelerator early and now has the internationally leading technology.
SeneS Technology Co., Ltd. is applying the passive gear decelerator developed in Korea to SCARA robots by Robotech and DMBH in Korea. A SCARA robot usually uses 2~3 decelerators.

SeneS Technology Co., Ltd. is also actively entering the global market with the domestically developed passive gear decelerator. It participated at an export conference in Malaysia and exhibited the robot parts including the decelerator to positive response at Shanghai International Robot Show in China and the International Robot Automation Show in Taiwan.

CEO Gui-ju Lee is focusing on entering the foreign markets as much as on expanding domestic distribution. “We intend to actively participate in international exhibitions in China, Taiwan, Indonesia, North America and Europe to promote robot parts and closely cooperate with local distributors to secure export competitiveness,” Lee said.
The company plans to participate in “AUTOMATICA 2016 (Germany)”, “CIROS 2016 (Shanghai, China)”, “TAIROS 2016 (Taiwan)”, and “MIS 2016 (Indonesia)”to hold the export conference and meetings with buyers.
